Pope Flores » Teaching sci fi was really ahead of the curve. Science fiction had a huge influence on Del and I, and it still does for me. Bud seems pretty cool.
Miki Davis » Yep, they taught English at GA Tech, and eventually Bud taught Science Fiction there, too, in an attempt to get the techies to think outside the box (I think some of the classes were held at Manual's)

Robert » The original name was Student League for Industrial Democracy but it morphed pretty quickly. Humphrey would later host the 1968 Convention when SDS was getting beat up!
James » Humphrey didn't create SDS, but he did speak at the first meeting of the group that SDS grew out of. The Democratic Party thought they could control it out but events proved otherwise.
